Turkey's BTK telecommunications regulator blocked access to international eSIM provider websites from within Turkey in July 2025 — meaning you cannot purchase or install a Teclapi Turkey eSIM after you arrive in the country. Install at home on Wi-Fi the night before your flight. Your connection will be live and ready the moment you land.
Always purchase at least one extra day beyond your planned stay — and strongly consider buying more data than you expect to use. Because international eSIM provider websites are blocked inside Turkey, you cannot easily top up or purchase a new plan if you run out mid-trip. Buying a slightly larger plan upfront is the safest approach for a worry-free journey.
